The official reward so far has not brought us closer to finding out what happened to Kristen. My theory is that even a monstor isn't going to take $50,000 in his right hand if he knows that two seconds later handcuffs will be slapped on his left hand. In this scenario, the money has no value.
Here's my idea.
Anonymous 'No Questions Asked' Reward
I have approached Kristen's dad about offering an anonymous reward. A reward that is not tied to any official "investigative" authority. Bob wasn't to keen on the idea at first, but when your child's well being is at stake, then I guess the human condition is open to any suggestion.
Bob is warming up. He's agreed to give it a shot. So let's show him.
I want to offer an "Anonymous" reward that is not conditional on an "arrest and conviction" of anyone responsible for what happened to Kristen. This reward is separate from the Official $50,000 reward that has been offered for years.
The reward money will come from you and I through a "Pledge" campaign posted on this website and promoted in Charlotte, North Carolina, Kristen's hometown as well as the rest of the nation as Kristen has a lot of friends willing to help her at this crucial time.

The FBI has scientific data that says that when a woman is attacked, 76.4% of the time she knew her assailant.
This is important in Kristen's case because Kristen was only in the Bay Area for 22 days.
Between her roommates (4) and coworkers (about 20) and a few other people, our best estimate is that Kristen only knew about 30-35 people.
The FBI figures are correct, so there is a 76.4% chance that one of these people know more than they are saying.
